Respecting the ocean
The ocean guides in us the elaboration of skincare, it inspires us every day and has always been at our side. This is why we want to preserve its extraordinary resources.
Our suncare is designed to respect the marine environment. Being certified organic is proof of natural formulas without controversial petrochemical-origin derivatives and no non-biodegradable silicones. The sunscreens are composed of biodegradable ingredients and are very water-resistant, limiting their dispersion when you are in the water.
The ingredients provide broad-spectrum protection against UVs and are exclusively mineral screens. They are of natural origin and do not harm the environment, unlike certain chemical filters that can adversely affect marine flora and fauna.
More and more countries are banning sunscreen products that use chemical filters. Some of these filters are proven to degrade corals: the case of oxybenzone and octocrylene.
Our suncare products were put to the test, and the non-toxicity on marine organisms was proven. They do not harm and are non-toxic for algae and microorganisms; they have no effect on their growth. Tests were also conducted on corals, concluding on the absence of danger concerning bleaching and retraction. Therefore, our sunscreens are CORAL SAFE.
